The clear, clean unpolluted water of Lake Nipissing is noted for Small-mouth Bass, Walleye (Pickerel), great Northern Pike, Muskellunge and other game fish (jumbo perch, crappie, catfish…) A fishing holiday means a boating holiday. At Memquisit you will find safe cedar strip boats and canoes as well as reliable outboard motors for those who wish to camp light.

Our guides are well versed with the haunts of the bass, pike pickerel and muskies. They are available for those who do not desire to follow their own inclinations and ramble around by themselves.

For those who indulge in fall hunting the numerous weeded bays of the West Arm offer excellent duck shooting. All information regarding laws, rates, licenses, etc. are available upon request. We urge those contemplating duck hunting in the fall to make reservations well in advance. We supply everything except licenses, rifles and ammunition.

The accommodations were super and -- the meals -- words can’t describe--- except to say -- when can we come back for dinner ????????

Your hospitality and friendship made us feel like we never left home.

Everything ran like clockwork and your attention to how things were going and your concerns made us feel like we could talk about things at ease.

I want to say we especially enjoyed Archie as our guide -- he sure knew the best locations and went out of his way to make sure we had plenty of chances to shoot (even though I might say we need to improve our aim)!!!!!! His sense of humour made conversation and the boat rides (I think to North Bay) go by very fast. We also felt that if there was anything we wanted to tell him or suggest about anything -- he always listened. Please pass along our thanks once again to him.

Even though we haven’t been home 24 hours yet-- I am already planning and looking forward to our return visit next year.
